Opaline Budgie Greeting card by Archbold Design

This beautiful Budgie card features is an original artwork by Australian Artist Alison Archbold, from Archbold Design and features an original artwork of an Opaline Budgie. The Opaline refers to the wing and head markings on the bird, which basically means there are less stripes on the head than a normal budgie and there is a loopier pattern on the wings.

Alison loves creating these artworks for her Greeting cards and limited edition prints, and all the animals in her ranges have been created from real animals including all the budgerigars.

Working from her Art studio on their farm just outside Canberra, Alison is inspired by nature, and the many creatures around her including her many Budgies. Alison has bred Budgies for over 40 years and used her own birds as models to create all these artworks.
