Green Budgie Greeting cards, Australian made

This beautiful Green Budgie Greeting card features is an original artwork by Australian Artist Alison Archbold, from Archbold Design.

Budgies are native to Australia, and this colour variety is referred to as normal green. The green budgerigars or parakeets as they are known in some countries, are found in central Australia in flocks of thousands. These flocks are all green birds, with very rare natural mutations found from time to time, including blue, lutino, or albino.

Working from her Art studio on their farm just outside Canberra, Alison is inspired by nature, and the many creatures around her. All the animals in her ranges are painted from real animals, including all the budgies. Alison had bred Budgies for over 40 years, so used some of her own birds as models to paint the Budgie ranges of Greeting cards.

Our green budgie greeting card was painted using water colour medium, and is also available as a limited edition print on cotton canvas.

This Green Budgie Greeting card measures 145mm x 145mm folded, and comes with a coloured envelope, and is sealed in a cello bag to keep it in pristine condition.
