Alison loves creating these artworks for her Greeting cards and limited edition prints, and as a breeder of rare budgies for over 40 years, knew that she would have to make sure there was a Budgerigar range of cards in her designs.

Working from her Art studio on their farm just outside Canberra, Alison is inspired by nature, and the many creatures around her. All the animals in her ranges are painted from real animals, and these birds are no exception. The forest Budgie design was painted from the artists own birds, and then she added in a rainforest background going from memory.
